Abstract:The source of subnanosecond pulses in the spectral range of 532-600 nm due to the second harmonic generation in nonlinear lithium niobate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals is presented. Pulses for second harmonic generation are obtained by amplifying the signal of the ytterbium-doped fiber laser with hybrid mode-locking. The hybrid mode provided self-triggering and reproducibility of the fiber system with stable temporal and spectral characteristics. The pulse repetition rate was 1 MHz with a duratio… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
