Abstract:Objective: To determine the stigma receptivity and the pollen viability in order to make manual crosses and obtain viable progeny in castor bean (Ricinus communis L.).Design/Methodology/Approach: Pollen viability tests were made on breeding materials by staining with acetocarmine solution.
