Abstract:Objectives
To investigate the effects of hydro-ethanolic extracts of leaves and fruit with or without seeds on male sex hormones.
Material and Methods
Hydro-ethanolic extracts of the leaves, fruits with seeds, and fruits without seeds were processed using the Soxhlet extraction technique. Wistar rats were administered 125, 250, and 500 mg/kg of the extracts by oral gavage for 30, 60, and 90 days while the control group received feeds and water ad libitum.
