“…The C 31 22R hopane/C 30 hopane-Pr/Ph diagrams indicate that the organic matter of the fine-grained sedimentary rocks of the Ziliujing Formation mainly originated from lacustrine (Figure 10g). The relative abundance of C 27 , C 28 , and C 29 rule steranes in the Ziliujing Formation is 30.84-38.10 (average 33.83%), 23.81-31.64 (average 26.18%), and 31.42-45.35 (average 39.98%), respectively, which indicates that the organic matter of the Ziliujing Formation originated from plankton and bacteria (Figure 10h, Table 3) [50,51]. The C 29 ααα(20R)/C 27 ααα(20R) sterane-Pr/Ph crossplot indicates that the fine-grained sedimentary rocks of the Ziliujing Formation were formed in a freshwater reducing depositional environment, and the organic matter is mainly derived from algal organisms (Figure 10i, Table 3) [52,53].…”

“…Its common indicators are T max , Ro, biomarkers, etc. [45][46][47]. Usually, T max with the range of <437, 437-450, >450 is classified as immaturity, low-maturity, and maturity [45][46][47].…”

“…The distribution pattern of tricyclic terpane C 21 , C 23 and C 24 can illustrate organic matter input, to some extent [46,48]. Researchers found that the "V" shape of C 21 , C 23 , and C 24 in tricyclic terpane is usually associated with a salt-water environment and can reflect lower biological input of bacteria and algae [36].…”
