Hydrocyanic acid potential in sorghums reduce with maturity and increase with temperature

Abstract: Sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L) Moench] is an important fodder however; its use is limited by the presence of dhurrin that disintegrates to yield hydrocyanic acid (HCN) which is toxic to livestock.
