Abstract: Chemical recycling and upcycling offer promising approaches for the management of plastic wastes. Hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) is one of the appealing ways for conversion of oxygen‐containing plastic wastes, including PET, PBT, PC, PPO, and PEEK, into cyclic alkanes and aromatics in high yields under mild reaction conditions.
