Hydrogenation Properties of Partially Remelted Mg-Ni Alloys

Abstract: Thixotropic Mg alloys have been focused only on the aspect of semi liquid forming until now. In the present study, with the aim of improving hydrogen storage capacity, we kept an eye on the microstructural evolutions and chemical properties of thixotropic microstructure in Mg-(3, 6, 9, 12 mass%) Ni alloys by using a partial remelting process.
