Abstract:Cyclopentanone (CPO) and cyclopentanol (CPL), derived from renewable biomass resource hemicellulose, are considered sustainable chemicals that can substitute fossil‐based products, which could be obtained through the hydrogenation‐rearrangement reaction of furfural (FFA).
