Hydropneumothorax in a patient with COVID-19

Abstract: Pneumothorax had been reported in a few patients COVID-19. However, the significance and frequency of this association remains unclear. We report a 42-year-old man with COVID-19 disease who presented with left-sided hydropneumothorax. We managed the patient with intercostal tube drainage underwater seal, oxygen inhalation, injections remedesivir, dexamethasone, and ceftriaxone.
