“…Another example of modification of carbon composite electrode is voltammetric determination of catechine in samples of teas, where the copper phosphate is added to increase the signal 19. Many other compounds can be used as modifiers for achieving desired properties, e.g., enzymes 15, 20, synthetic polymers 21, organometallic compounds 22, or polysaccharides 23.…”

“…It is clear that the PB/CS/CC electrode of ascorbic acid has low detection limit and higher sensitivity. In particular, the PB/CS/CC electrode’s sensitivity is calculated to be 1.64 A M −1 , which is larger than that of other AA sensors, for example, 0.194 A M −1 for electrospun iridium oxide nanofibers modified glass carbon electrode 36, 0.141 A M −1 for minopyrimidyl functionalized conductive polymer electrode 37, 0.760 A M −1 for hydroquinone modified chotisan/carbon film electrode 38. The CoPd/C modified electrode also has high performance, because Pd‐based catalysts contain noble metal which has excellent electrical conductivity, high surface and chemical stability 39.…”

“…4). This range is better than hydroquinone-modified chitosan/carbon film electrode (Jirimali et al 2013), polyaniline-modified screenprinted carbon electrode (Kit-Anan et al 2012), poly(bromocresol purple)-modified glassy carbon electrode (Zhang et al 2013), and gold nanoparticles-TiO 2 nanotubesTi electrode (Hosseini et al 2011). At higher concentrations, a standard curve showed a deviation from linearity.…”
