“…Numerous ways to synthesize SCO complexes have been offered for today, for example, solution state chemistry, mechanochemistry, [13] solvatothermal [14] and hydrothermal [15] syntheses, as well as more exotic approaches such as thermolysis of spincrossover inactive complexes. [16] "Direct synthesis" is a one-step synthesis of metal complexes starting from zero-valent metals or their oxides.…”

“…Five CPs containing semiflexible ligands (pbtx and obtx) and H 2 dmg aliphatic acid were systematically synthesized in distilled water with a hydrothermal method. The characteristic asymmetric and symmetric stretching vibrations corresponding to carboxylic acid groups of H 2 dmg are observed as 1694 and 1414 cm –1 , respectively (Figure S3), , and disappeared after compound formation. , In all of the compounds, these stretching frequencies are observed in the region 1525–1637 cm –1 for υs asym (CO) and 1391–1476 cm –1 for υs sym (CO). In the FTIR spectra of compounds (Figures S4–S8) are observed aliphatic υ(C–H) stretching vibration ranging between 2898 and 2967 cm –1 and aromatic υ(C–H) stretching vibration ranging between 3130 and 3106 cm –1 .…”
