In our previous research, it was found that the glass coated with Cs x WO 3 nanoparticles had excellent transparency and NIR shielding ability [14][15][16][17]. Thus, Cs x WO 3 may be used for compensating for the disadvantage of SiO 2 aerogel with having no near-infrared shielding ability, and the Cs x WO 3 /SiO 2 aerogel composite coatings can be expected to exhibit excellent thermal insulation properties and visible transparency simultaneously.…”
