Abstract: This paper combines a hyper‐reduction procedure, the proper orthogonal decomposition unassembled discrete empirical interpolation method, with a non‐iterative α‐operator splitting (α‐OS) time‐integration scheme for accelerating parametric analyses on damageable civil engineering structures subjected to earthquakes.
