Hyperbaric Oxygen Increases Sensitivity to Chemotherapy in Acute Leukemia

Abstract: Introduction: Chemotherapy resistance remains a significant challenge in the treatment of adults with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Although new targets and novel agents are under clinical investigation, the majority of AML patients are treated with conventional induction chemotherapy consisting of an anthracycline and cytarabine, with little modification in over 40 years.
