Hyperfine Constants and Formation Dynamics of the Cyclohexadienyl Radical in Solution

Abstract

We measured avoided level crossing resonances for solutions of benzene in water and hexane, for a range of temperatures. Fitting the time-domain spectra allows the hyperfine constants of both the muon and the ipso proron to be extracted. Information on formation dynamics and relaxation rates is also available.
