“…The hf constants of odd parity levels of Sc I belonging to the configurations 3d 2 (4p + 5p), 3d4s(4p + 5p), and 4s 2 4p and hf constants of even levels belonging to the configurations 3d4p 2 , 3d 2 (4s + 5s + 4d), 3d 3 , 3d4s(5s + 6s + 4d + 5d), 4s 2 4d have been determined. A total of 199 hf constants of Sc I are determined, and the results are compared with the hf constants determined by [1,13,[15][16][17]21]. All the hf constants agree well within the uncertainty values, except for odd levels 43252 and 44105 cm −1 & for even levels, 36515, 42937, 43597, 44838, and 45870 cm −1 where the hf constants determined in this study differ from the work of others.…”
