Abstract:Introductions: Antipsychotics are still the mainstay of schizophrenia management. Antipsychotics are antagonistic to postsynaptic dopamine receptors in the brain. Blockade of dopamine receptors in the tuberoinfundibular pathway by antipsychotics will cause the side effect of hyperprolactinemia.
