Preeclampsia, a condition in pregnancy characterized by new onset high blood pressure and proteinuria, complicates 2%–8% of pregnancies globally. Early detection, careful monitoring, and treatment of high blood pressure are crucial in preventing mortality related to preeclampsia disorders.
