Hypolipidemic and antioxidant efficacy of giant embryo brown rice in high-fat-fed guinea pigs

Abstract: To investigate the antihyperlipidemic effects of giant embryo rice 'Shangshida No. 5' on high-fat-fed guinea pigs, fortyeight male guinea pigs were randomly assigned and fed the following diets for 12 weeks: normal control (NC), normal control supplemented with giant embryo brown rice (NC-GB), high fat (HF), and high-fat supplemented with giant embryo brown rice (HF-GB).
