Hypothalamic PI3K and MAPK differentially mediate regional sympathetic activation to insulin

Abstract: The action of insulin in the central nervous system produces sympathetic nervous system activation (also called sympathoactivation), although the neuronal intracellular mechanisms that mediate this are unclear.
