Hypothyroidism and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Abstract: Data supporting an association between primary hypothyroidism and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is lacking. Thyroid hormones are totally involved in the regulation of body weight, lipid metabolism, and insulin resistance.
