Abstract: Catha edulis, commonly known as “Khat,” is a large shrub that is native to the Arabian Peninsula (particularly Yemen) and some African countries, including Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, and the plant is used traditionally for its psychostimulant, euphoric, and analgesic properties.
