(E)-Methyl N′-[1-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethylidene]hydrazinecarboxylate

Abstract: Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 273 K; mean (C-C) = 0.002 Å; R factor = 0.037; wR factor = 0.102; data-to-parameter ratio = 12.8.The molecule of the title compound, C 11 H 14 N 2 O 3 , adopts a trans configuration with respect to the C N bond. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the hydrazinecarboxylate plane is 12.06 (9) .
