“…The ratio of Co/Cu and (Cu + Co)/O are 1.98 and 0.71, respectively, which are nearly consistent with the stoichiometric coefficients of CuCo 2 O 4 (2 and 0.75). Furthermore, from the Cu 2p spectrum in figure S4(a), two main peaks at binding energies of 934.2 eV and 954.1 eV correspond to Cu 2p 3/2 and Cu 2p 1/2 , respectively [67,68]. Two satellite peaks (Sat.)…”

“…The heterostructure composed of MXene and other 2D materials can not only enhance the effective electron transport at the interface but also expose more active sites for efficient NO 3 -RR. Wang et al synthesized black phosphorus (BP)/Nb 2 C heterostructures using a simple self-assembly method [68] . The energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) mapping shows that the elements are evenly distributed on the heterogeneous structure, which proves the successful combination of BP and MXene.…”

“…Benefiting from the synergistic effect between different components, the MXene-based heterostructure catalysts exhibit excellent FE (MIL-101(Fe)@Nb 2 C = 89.9%, BP/Nb 2 C = 90.4% and Bi 2 O 3 /Mxene = 91.1%) [63] , higher than that of MXenebased SAC (FeSA/Mxene = 82.9%) [75] . Due to the strong interaction between MXene and other component materials, MXene-based heterostructure catalysts showed better cyclic stability (BP/Nb 2 C = 15 cycles and Fe 1 Cu 2 @Mxene = 14 cycles) than MXene-based SACs (FeSA/Mxene = 5 cycles) [68] . However, MXene-based heterostructure catalysts usually have high metal loading (> 10 wt%), which inevitably leads to waste of active sites and higher preparation costs [62] .…”
