Abstract:Wang, W.S., Loh, T.C., Foo, H.L. and Liang, J.B. 2010. I n vitro study of fiber fermentability by swine fecal microflora. J . Appl. h i m . Res., This study was conducted to compare fermentability of inulin and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) by swine fecal inoculum. Inulin had higher gas volume, total volatile fatty acids NFA) and purine base (PB) concentration of inoculums as compared to CMC indicating its better fermentability by swine fecal inoculum.
