Abstract: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) released by mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have exhibited regenerative capability in animal models of ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) acute kidney injury (AKI) and are considered as potential alternatives to direct MSC therapy.
