Kansastega , nom. nov., a replacement name for Microstega Hooks, preoccupied by Meyrick

Abstract

The genus name of the Cretaceous protostegid turtle Microstega Hooks, 1998 (type species Microstega copei Wieland, 1909) is preoccupied by Microstega Meyrick, 1890 (type species Microstega pandalis Hübner, 1825), a modern lepidopteran.
