Abstract:A new species of Passiflora series Quadrangulares is described and illustrated from National Forest of Carajás in the Brazilian state of Pará, viz Passiflora carajasensis. This new species is recognized by linear-lanceolate stipules, long-ovate to oblong leaf blades, bracts 3-3.5 × 1.5-2.5 cm, erect sepals and petals, and corona with 6 series.
