Abstract:Ticks are widespread arthropods that transmit microorganisms of veterinary and medical significance to vertebrates, including humans. Rhipicephalus simus, an ixodid tick frequently infesting and feeding on humans, may play a crucial role in transmitting infectious agents across species.
