Shewanella xiamenensis‐associated ulcerative dermatitis in koi carp (Cyprinus rubrofuscus)

Abstract: Ulcerative dermatitis (UD) is common in ornamental fish collections and is typically associated with a wide range of bacterial aetiologies. Clinical reports describing Shewanella xiamenensis‐associated UD are limited, however, despite growing attention to pathogenic Shewanella species in fish.
