Abstract:About fifteen years after the “Parco Archeologico” of Cortona was opened, it was deemed necessary to launch an accurate and extensive campaign of study and documentation of the sites from which it consists. The study and the survey were started from the tumuli of Sodo and the tumulus of Camucia; the work was conducted with the aim of deepening the construction techniques and the state of conservation of these artifacts.
