Vibrio metschnikovii Bacteremia in a Patient with Cholecystitis

Abstract: Vibrio metschnikovii was isolated from the blood of an 82-year-old patient with peritonitis and an inflamed gallbladder. This is probably the first clinically significant isolate of this new vibrio.
