Abstract: Stone fruit (Prunus spp.: apricot, cherry, peach, nectarine, plum, and sloe), almond (Prunus spp.), and walnut (Juglans spp.) crops are among the most economically important tree crops worldwide and are cultivated to a different extent on all continents.
