Iatrogenic bladder injuries during obstetric and gynecological surgeries-does it demand prophylactic presence of an urologist?

Abstract: Background: Iatrogenic bladder injuries (IBI) are more common during obstetric and gynaecological procedures averaging 2.6 IBIs per 1000 surgeries.
