Abstract: Editorial CommentImplantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) therapy is beneficial to patients who have experienced life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias (secondary prevention) and those at risk for ventricular arrhythmias due to the presence of structural heart disease (primary prevention).
