ICON-O: The Ocean Component of the ICON Earth System Model - Global Simulation Characteristics and Local Telescoping Capability

Abstract: The Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (MPI-M) has a long tradition in developing global ocean models (Maier-Reimer et al., 1993;Marsland et al., 2003;Wolff et al., 1997).
