“…Though chromium concentration was determined by the ETA AAS method in both the studied samples and bismuth oxide from Furukawa, this impurity was excluded from the list of analytes, because the concentration of chro mium found experimentally by the added-found method was much lower than the added concentra tion. Note that chromium was included into the list of elements determined by the DCA AES procedure [7] and was not determined by the ICP AES procedure [11]. According to the data [14], chromium under cer tain conditions can form volatile CrCl 3 chloride; how ever, the physicochemical modeling of the behavior of impurities in the reactive distillation of a bismuth oxide matrix [15] indicated that losses of this impurity were low probable.…”
