Abstract: Idarucizumab is an antibody fragment specific for the immediate reversal of dabigatran anticoagulation effects. The use of idarucizumab is approved for dabigatran-treated patients suffering from life-threatening or uncontrolled bleeding and those in need of urgent surgery or invasive procedures.
