Ideas and Methods of Multi-Centre Structure Formation of Composite Materials

Abstract: The work is devoted to the analysis of the basic mechanisms of multi-centre structure formation of building composites. The perceptions of structure evolution must include discrete sequences of irreversible «step-events». Each subsequent stage of structural development begins «from what has been achieved» and is realized with the participation and by means of inner surfaces of partition. The implementation of various mechanisms of the spontaneous emergence of local centres of structure formation leads to the o… Show more

“…It is assumed that the internal conditions for the self-organization of the structure of polymer compositions should be coordinated with external influences [7]. During the initial period of structure formation, filled polymer compositions can be considered as multiphase heterogeneous high-concentrated coarse dispersed lyophobic system with lyophilic interface of partition of phases [2]. The proposed model allows analyzing the processes of initial formation of polymer-containing compositions structure through phased acts of inter-particle interactions and organization of discrete blocks (clusters) from filler particles, taking into account the manifestation of surface effects at the interface of phases and polymerization reactions [2,8].…”

“…A pertinent problem of production of composites on an epoxy binder is increasing their physicaltechnical properties at reducing organic part consumptions. A comprehensive solution of this problem necessitates use of new approaches to analysis and synthesis of polymer composite materials [1]. This allows revealing structural components potential.…”

“…Internal sources of influences also include continuous processes of hydration of relict cement grains [5]. Also in works [1,3], it is noted that a change of the crack parameters as active elements of the structure initiates the participation of metastable elements in the structural changes of material. The volume and temperature deformations that occur in this case are localized in the substructures of the microlevel of heterogeneities.…”

“…It is difficult to foresee behavior of building products and constructions under the influence of operational loads on base the adopted design schemes. Realization of properties of building constructions as any complex system [1,2] is defined by the behavior of the weakest or most active element. Therefore it is rational to consider the functioning of constructions taking into account their structural organization.…”
