Identification of a local variety of ‘uwi’ (Dioscorea alata Linn.) in four agro-climate regions of East-West Java - Indonesia based on tuber character

Abstract: Indonesia is very well known for its genetic diversity of potential tubers plants for alternative and functional food sources. ‘Uwi’ (Dioscorea alata Linn.) as one of the tuber’s plants needs to get attention, so there is no genetic erosion or even extinction.
