Identification of Biomarkers Associated With CD8+ T Cells in Coronary Artery Disease and Their Pan-Cancer Analysis

Abstract: PurposeTo identify biomarkers associated with CD8+ T cells in coronary artery disease (CAD) and initially explore their potential role in the tumor immune microenvironment.Materials and MethodsCAD-related datasets GSE12288, GSE34198, and GSE66360, were downloaded from the GEO database. First, GSVA was performed based on the GSE12288 dataset. Then WGCNA analysis was performed to identify the most relevant module and candidate hub gene for CD8+ T cells, followed by GO and KEGG analysis of this module. Secondly, … Show more

“…Furthermore, FBXO7 is another gene associated with CAD. It is linked to CAD risk factors such as blood pressure regulation and inflammation, indicating its potential involvement in the development and progression of CAD [29]. Moreover, APOC1, a component of lipoproteins, has also been linked to CAD.…”

“…Still, the connection between immunity in CAD and cancer has rarely been reported. A recent study has shown that some genes are strongly linked to CD8+ T immune cells responsible for the onset of CAD and cancer ( 23 ) and may provide new therapeutic targets for CAD and coronary artery disease. However, the precise mechanisms are not yet known.…”

“…The continued integration of bioinformatics in genetic research will undoubtedly catalyze future discoveries, providing deeper understanding of genetic mechanisms and paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies. [18][19][20][21][22][23] Investigating the expression of CDCA4 and its prognostic value in liver cancer is the aim of this investigation, along with its influence on the immune microenvironment. Through this investigation, we aim to elucidate the associations between CDCA4 and potential targets or signaling pathways pertinent to the onset and progression of liver cancer.…”
