Abstract:Chronic discoidal lupus erythematosus (CDLE) is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by localized, round, red, patchy skin lesions, which often occur on the head. Inflammatory cells often show an infiltration pattern targeting hair follicles, leading to alopecia.
