Identification of cellulose ethers in cultural heritage by means of MALDI-TOF-MS

Abstract: Cellulose ethers used as adhesives in heritage conservation treatments have been successfully identified by means of MALDI-TOF-MS, a technique non-previously applied for this purpose in cultural assets.
