Abstract:Torrential rainfall or continuous rainfall for a certain period of time may wash out the foundation of transmission towers and cause tilt or collapse of towers. Special attentions are required for the towers locating at the feature regions such as high risk landslides, mediocre risk landslides, mudslides, dip slopes, and fault zones.
