Abstract: Endogenous pararetrovirus sequences (EPRVs) originated from DNA viruses of the family Caulimoviridae are widely present in plant genomes. Banana streak viruses (BSVs) are a group of circular double-stranded DNA viruses in the genus Badnavirus of the family Caulimoviridae.
