Abstract: Papain-like protease (PLpro) is a viral protease found in some coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID -19, and is a target for antiviral drug development. Inhibition of PLpro activity could potentially limit viral replication, making it an attractive target for antiviral drug development.
