Identification of Significant Secreted or Membrane-Located Proteins in Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Abstract: Background. This study is aimed at investigating the expressions and prognostic values of secreted or membrane-located proteins (SMPs) in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC). The correlations between the expressions of SMPs and immune cells’ infiltrations were also investigated. Methods. The expression data of normal laryngeal and LSCC samples were obtained from the TCGA and GEO datasets. The differentially expressed SMPs were identified, and their prognostic values were analyzed. The biological functions… Show more

“…Although the biological function of CLEC11A has not been revealed in CRC, several studies have reported that CLEC11A is significantly associated with the clinical outcomes of cancer patients. [24,25] The prognostic value of CYRAB has been demonstrated in CRC. [26,27] In addition, CYRAB can promote the invasion and metastasis of CRC via the regulation of the epithelial-mesenchymal transition.…”

“…Global proteome analysis of the mitochondria in Raje cells also identi ed ATAD3B as a potential biomarker of radioresistance (26). CLEC11A is a protein-coding gene that signi cantly participates in the tumor microenvironment and immune cell communication and can predict protein survival in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) (27). CMTM3 was associated with cell growth and migration in oral squamous cell carcinoma (28) and pancreatic cancer (29) and has roles in the tumor microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy (30).…”

“…A global proteome analysis of the mitochondria in Raje cell also showed ATAD3B as the potential biomarkers of radioresistance [26]. CLEC11A is a protein coding gene significantly participating in tumor microenvironment and immune cells' communication, and can predict the survival of protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) [27] . CMTM3 is not only related to the cell growth and migration of oral squamous cell carcinoma [28] and pancreatic cancer [29], but also has the role in tumor microenvironment and cancer immunotherapy [30].…”
