Abstract:Recently, the potential role of tRNA-related fragments (tRFs) in ophthalmic diseases has been extensively researched. However, systematic studies on the potential regulatory effects of tRFs in thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) are lacking. We used high-throughput sequencing techniques to measure expression levels of mRNAs and tRFs in patients with TAO, and the results were verified by real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (q-PCR). Next, the potential biological regulatory… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
