Abstract:An extraction, purification, PCR amplification and sequencing of DNA from five species of Phyllanthus in Nigeria namely P. amarus Schum and Thonn, P. urinaria Linn., P. odontadenius Mull-Arg., P. niruroides Mull-Arg. and P. muellerianus (O.
