Identifying biomarkers for asthma diagnosis using targeted metabolomics approaches

Abstract: Background The diagnosis of asthma in children is challenging and relies on a combination of clinical factors and biomarkers including methacholine challenge, lung function, bronchodilator responsiveness, and presence of airway inflammation.
